it sort of feels that way. >> i will tell you. yes. this is going to be a summer to remember. especially for the south. this has been going on, essentially all summer, we're consistently seeing heat alerts land is new is the pacific northwest and dodging the extreme heat. not many or. pushing into the pacific northwest. it includes seattle. compared to a few hours ago. we will start with the south. look at this. temperatures hitting 108 in dallas. 107 tomorrow. temperatures finally drop a little bit by monday. houston, staying in the triple digits. new orleans, hitting 100. and we're looking at temperatures hitting close to 100 degrees across north florida. the feels like temperature, which is so important, it is going to be 115 in baton rouge today. 108 in san antonio. 117 in corpus christi. this is going to be just a muggy dangerously hot day across the south. across the pacific northwest, here we go, portland hitting 106 on monday, and portland could

jennifer gray. what can you tell us about all of these threats coming from all sides? >> we're getting the storms, we're getting the heat. there is a lot going on. heat advisories, excessive heat warnings in effect, even for the pacific northwest. the heat will build quickly across that region throughout the beginning part of the week. high temperatures today in dallas 108, houston 102, del rio 108. temperatures will fall in dallas by monday by about ten degrees, but still 99 there. montgomery hitting triple digits throughout the weekend as well. the feels-like temperatures hitting 107 in lake charles, 100 in dallas. high temperatures for the pacific northwest, portland will hit 106 on monday. they could break records sunday and monday. we could see more than 100 records broken across the
