One of the region’s most popular and experienced rock/blues bands, Down to The River, will present “Dark Side of The River” in the Willard & Lucy Kinzer Theater at the Mountain Arts Center (MAC) on Friday, April 2. This concert will be their take on Pink Floyd’s classic concept album “Dark Side Of The Moon.”
Band leader, guitarist, and vocalist Tony Mullins describes his excitement.
“Dark Side of the Moon is legendary. It was on the charts for over a decade and is constantly in the top ten greatest albums of all times. During one of our drives back from a show we all talked about the possibility of doing an entire album from one of our favorite artists. We don’t just plan on “playing” Dark Side for you, we want you to experience all the nuances of one of the best concept albums of all time. It’s going to be a true experience.”
