Department charged 11 people with seditious conspiracy. the article said, quote, the purpose of the conspiracy was to oppose the lawful transfer of presidential power by force, by preventing, hindering, or delaying by force the execution of the laws governing the transfer of power, including the 1sth and 20th amendments to the constitution and title 3, section 15 of the united states code. it is one of the counts in the multi-count indictment. the indictment includes several quotes and text messages and other communication by the defendant who federal investigators have already obtained.
