Oil import bill declines 22.23pc in first half
Business January 24, 2021 ISLAMABAD: The country’s oil import bill witnessed a 22.23 percent reduction during the first half of the current fiscal year, compared with the corresponding period of the last year, the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) reported. The overall oil imports during July-December (2020/21) were recorded at $4,771.471 million against the imports of $6,142.197 million during July-December (2019/20), showing a decline of 22.32 percent, the data showed.
