Business February 5, 2021 KARACHI: Bank lending to private sector surged 57.2 percent year-on-year to Rs234.7 billion during the first seven months of the current fiscal year of 2020/21 as businesses were gravitating toward low-cost borrowing amid economic recovery, the central bank’s data showed.
