Hi there. I was wondering if anyone who had applied for the 820/801 visa got their visa results when overseas on a BVB. Or if immigration will automatically cancel your visa if your not back in Aus. in time.
I submitted my 820/801 spouse visa in Jan 2020. I had to travel overseas in November 2020 as my dad passed away. I applied for a Bridging Visa B for 12 months and was approved. My wife and I both traveled overseas to spend some time with my mum. I received a message from Aus. Immigration yesterday, 1 year after submitting application asking for more documents (S56 Request).
