GUWAHATI: PM Narendra Modi on Thursday kicked off multiple road, water, and digital connectivity projects worth Rs 9,500 crore in poll-bound Assam through videoconference. The projects include inland waterways to provide an alternative link with the northeast. Modi also laid foundation for the country’s longest bridge (19km) over the Brahmaputra.
