Aaftab Poonawala spent his first night in jail surrounded by convicts and under constant 24-hour CCTV watch inside his cell.
With the polygraph test being pushed to Tuesday, it is now known whether the narco test will be deferred by a day.
A senior official at Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL), Rohini said that investigators informed them that Poonawala is down with a fever and cold and so he could not be brought for the polygraph test. The test will continue only after he gets well, the official added.
The court has ordered Aaftab to undergo both polygraph and narco-analysis tests to uncover clues on the Shraddha Walkar murder case.
