Some Nigerians on X, formerly known as Twitter, have asked President Bola Tinubu’s government to probe former aviation minister Hadi Sirika for allegedly misappropriating billions of naira budgeted for the ‘Nigeria Air’ project. President Muhammadu Buhari-led government in May committed a major blunder by unveiling an Ethiopian Airlines Boeing 737-800 series aircraft and claimed it belonged to “Nigerian Air”. It was discovered that the plane unveiled as belonging to Nigerian Air was over 10 years old and belonged to Ethiopian Airlines.
