Making Parlee Beach More Accessible
Parlee Beach (Staff photo) Construction is underway to build facilities at Parlee Beach which will make it more wheelchair-accessible. The provincial government has announced $400,000 for a new comfort station with accessible washrooms, indoor showers, sheltered outdoor showers and family changing rooms. The playground has a nautical theme with a play boat and swinging ride shaped like a raft and will be accessible to all children. “It’s exciting to see one of New Brunswick’s most popular beaches become more accessible,” said Tourism, Heritage and Culture Minister Tammy Scott-Wallace....
