Brian Johnson is set to release the memoir, ‘The Lives of Brian’.
The AC/DC legend’s tell-all tome, which will follow his upbringing and storied life on the road in one the most iconic rock bands of all time, will be published on October 26 by Penguin Books.
He said in a statement: “I’ve had some long nights and some great nights, bad days and a lot of good ones.
“I’ve gone from choirboy to rock’n’roll singer, and now I’ve gone and written a bloody book about it.”
The book will also touch on the 73-year-old frontman’s battle with his hearing, which saw him ordered to stop performing live five years ago or end up going completely deaf.

It follows the vocalist 'from choirboy to rock 'n' roll singer.'

City officials, along with representatives from Austin’s music venues, came out in strong opposition this afternoon to HB 3813, a bill that would strip large cities of their power to regulate amplified sound coming from bars.
At an afternoon press conference, held at 3ten ACL Live, Mayor Steve Adler portrayed Austin’s sound policies as the result of extended civic relations.
“This community, consisting of residents, music industry representatives, and clubs, came together and resolved years-long disputes about how everybody can exist in peace and in a way that maximizes quality of life for the entire community,” he said. “That’s what good neighbors do. In this instance, the outside interference from the legislature would be misguided, misdirected, not welcome, and not appropriate.”

I’ve recently become slightly obsessed with artificial intelligence. To make me obsess over it a bit more, one just wrote a Nirvana song.
A Toronto based metal health group called Over The Bridge started the Lost Tapes of the 27 Club initiative to see what AI could come up with after listening to 20-30 songs from various artists that died at 27. Some of the other artists that received an AI makeover are Jimi Hendrix, Amy Winehouse, and Jim Morrison.
After listening to the songs, the program translated the pitch and rhythm in to a digital code, then it went through a synthesizer to create the song. AI also wrote the lyrics. Although this is pretty neat, let’s hope AI doesn’t get a record deal any time soon.
