Mamman Khan, arrested last month in connection with the July 31 Nuh violence, was granted interim bail by a court on Tuesday in two cases.
The Nuh District court has postponed its decision on the bail petition of Haryana Congress MLA Mamman Khan, who is currently in judicial custody for his alleged involvement in the July 31 violence in Nuh. Khan's lawyer had applied for bail, and arguments between both parties lasted for over 30 minutes. Khan was arrested on September 15 and sent to 14 days of judicial custody. The court's decision on the bail petition is now expected on Saturday evening. Khan claims that he was not present in Nuh during the violence.
According to reports, police detained Khan at the home of a relative on the Jaipur–Ajmer road and took him to Nuh. The court reserved its decision till 4 pm today.
Both confess to strangling their 12-year-old sister and hanging her body with a pipe inside their house.
