US Space agency NASA has named Indian-American Bhavya Lal as acting chief of staff for the agency. As the senior White House appointee at NASA, Lal served as a member of the Biden Presidential Transition Agency Review Team for the agency and oversaw the agency s transition under the Joe Biden-led administration.

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration has named an Indian-American to a top position at the agency.
Bhavya Lal has been appointed as acting chief of staff, NASA announced Feb. 1, 2021, among the slew of other appointees.
As the senior White House appointee at NASA, Lal served as a member of the Biden Presidential Transition Agency Review Team for the agency and oversaw the agency’s transition under the administration of President Joe Biden, the press release from NASA said. ....
