The Bombay High Court was informed by the State of Maharashtra that Ola, Uber and 10 other cab aggregators had been granted provisional aggregators licenses.
Cab aggregators will have to apply for a licence from the Maharashtra government by 16th March, per a ruling made on a PIL by the Bombay HC.
The Bombay High Court directed cab aggregators to apply for a license from State of Maharashtra under the Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Act, 2019 and Motor Vehicle Aggregators Guidelines 2020 before March 16, 2022.
