Many people paid tribute after the heartbreaking story of an NHS worker who took his own life after he suffered deteriorating mental health.
The family of paediatric nurse Matthew Blackmore, from Wavertree, said mental health problems plus the isolation caused by the pandemic contributed to him tragically taking his own life at Christmas.
