Seven security operatives abducted by suspected fighters of the Islamic State of West Africa Province (ISWAP) in Gubio Local Government Area of Borno state were freed when their abductors reportedly fled for safety on Saturday. SaharaReporters had reported how the gunmen abducted the security men comprising a policeman, four members of the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) and two hunters. The terrorists also carted away one Hilux patrol vehicle and weapons and afterwards moved towards Gadai village in the Nganzai Local Government Area.
