No relief for Tandav team as Indian top court refuses protection from arrest - Film & TV

Tandav failed to get relief from India's Supreme Court after it refused to grant them protection from arrest.
Multiple first information reports have been filed against them for allegedly hurting religious sentiments and the team is also facing violent threats.
NDTV, actor Zeeshan Ayyub, Amazon Creative Head Aparna Purohit and the maker of the series Himanshu Kishan Mehra had moved the top court asking for a freeze on possible arrest.

party Karni Sena has announced a INR10 million reward to physically attack and
maim the makers of
Tandav.
According to
ZeeNews, the
announcement was made by Maharashtra Karni Sena
Chief Ajay Sengar. They are upset over the way in which their deities have been
portrayed.
He
added that the makers’ apology is not enough and will not be accepted.

MUMBAI (Dunya News) – Maharashtra Karni Sena chief Ajay Sengar has offered Rs 1 crore reward for slitting the tongues of those who insult Hindu gods and goddesses in Amazon’s web series ‘Tandav’.
Sengar said, “Even though ‘Tandav’ makers have apologised to everyone but this is not enough and it will not be accepted.”
Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan, who is also working in Tandav, has already been given additional security.
Earlier, the cast and crew of a popular streaming series starring Bollywood megastar Saif Ali Khan had agreed to "implement changes" to the show after ruling party politicians accused it of insulting Hindu gods.

Maharashtra Karni Sena chief Ajay Sengar, according to Indian publications, has offered "Rs 1 crore reward to anyone who slits tongue of those who insults Hindu gods and goddesses in the web series".
Sengar, acknowledging that
