A millionaire pilot landed at the RAF military base, Anglesey, Wales, in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic because "he wanted to see the beach." Richard Wood, 60, was on his way to visit his mother in Yorkshire, however, he was informed that she was too busy, so he decided to use Prince William's airstrip.

A MILLIONAIRE businessman who broke lockdown to fly his private plane to an RAF airfield and go to the beach was fined more than £4,000 today.
Richard Wood, 60, stepped out of the £2milllion jet in sunglasses and shorts after landing at RAF Valley in Anglesey.

Richard Wood, 60, stepped out of the £2milllion jet in sunglasses and shorts when he landed at RAF Valley in Anglesey during lockdown in May last year.
