Melbourne Storm hooker Harry Grant is a major doubt for the club’s Round 1 clash against South Sydney.
Grant injured his knee in the Storm’s 30-10 win over the Newcastle Knights in a trial match at Albury Sports Ground on Saturday.
Storm coach Craig Bellamy revealed the 23-year-old could be sidelined for up to a month with a medial ligament injury.
"He has done a medial and I doubt he is going to be ready for Round 1," Bellamy said post-game.
"I am not quite sure, but he's probably going to be out for three to four weeks.

NRL Trial Game for Albury

NRL Trial Game for Albury
In a major coup for local rugby league fans, the Melbourne Storm and Newcastle Knights will play their one and only trial match at Albury Sports Ground next weekend.
After the Newcastle Knights deemed the travel risk too high under the current COVID environment to travel to Melbourne, Albury will become the beneficiary of the reschedule.
Storm CEO Justin Rodski says while it’s disappointing for their members and fans in Melbourne, it’s an opportunity to say thanks to the Albury community.
“It’s important that our players get the chance to prepare as best they can for the season ahead which is why we will travel to Albury for the trial,” Justin explained on melbournestorm.com.au

Melbourne Storm will move their 2021 trial match to Albury after being informed by Newcastle Knights that they have decided not to travel to Victoria as scheduled later this month.
Knights management informed Storm of their decision late Thursday afternoon, deeming the travel risk too high under the current COVID environment.
The February 27 trial was scheduled to be played at Casey Fields and will now be played at Albury Sports Ground.
Fans who have purchased a ticket to the Casey Trial match will be given the opportunity to attend a Storm home game at AAMI Park later this year, while those who had purchased a Casey Membership will be given an additional ticket to a game at AAMI Park. The Club will make contact in the coming days to update those affected.
