Officer Destiny Silva, a police spokeswoman, said officers responded around 11:09 a.m. Wednesday to reports of a disturbance between two men involving a weapon near the intersection of Oltorf Street and Willow Creek Drive. Austin police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man they say robbed an insurance business in North Austin last week. Police say the robber on Wednesday entered Remco Austin Insurance, at the 8700 block of North Lamar Boulevard, and pointed a small black handgun at an employee demanding money. The robber left with an undisclosed amount of cash and fled on foot, officials said. He was last seen going west on Fairfield Drive. The employee was not injured, police said.
