The former Amazon employee said the return-to-office policy was the sole reason he decided to quit. 'I wish I could have stayed, but it frankly felt intentional the way they were pushing people out.'
Amazon employee Schonhoff said, "I enjoyed my work at Amazon and was genuinely excited about the work we were doing and the team I was building during my tenure as a software development manager, which spanned more than three and a half years. If it weren't for the company's stringent stance on the return-to-office policy, I would still be an Amazon employee, fully engaged in my work."
