to be an Olympian, you pretty much have to be superhuman to compete with the best athletes in the world. But there is one sport that stands out as the toughest, even among the elite, taking the title Olympian to a whole new level on that sport is water polo. Water polo often tops the list with the bleacher report, calling it the toughest sport in the world. A trainer tells insider the athletes sneaking blows to each other similar to ice hockey and soccer while treading water for 30 minutes, saying water polo is played with reckless abandon and is more violent than Spectators assume after water polo. Inside reports that its experts gave gymnastic second place for technical and mental strength. I mean, look at simone biles. Need we say more Next swimmers, boxers, 800 metre sprinters and even triathlon athletes got points for their physical endurance with Fox sports saying for triathlons, that swimming a mile biking 25 running a 10-K back to back to back is no joke
