A CITY centre bank which shut last year is now being marketed for rent. Last Summer the Co-Operative bank announced that its branch on Tyrrel Street would be among 18 in the UK to shut. Chief Executive Andrew Bester said more customers were choosing to bank online, and making fewer transactions in branches. Now the former bank unit, based in the Grade II listed Prudential Assurance building, is being marketed for rent.
