Anti-conversion bill to be tabled in Haryana in upcoming budget session: Anil Vij

Haryana health minister said a draft of the bill against religious conversions (through force or fraud) has been prepared.

Chandigarh: The Haryana government is all set to table an anti-conversion Bill in the upcoming Budget session, stage Home Minister Anil Vij said here on Thursday. The bill will seek to provide protection against religious conversions through force or fraudulent means in the upcoming Assembly.
"The enactment of this law will prevent any attempt to get religious conversion by force, inducement, bluff of marriage or by any other unethical methods by anyone in the state," Vij said after a meeting of a committee formed to draft the bill.
