West Essex Regional school board delays decision on calendar change
NORTH CALDWELL - The West Essex Regional Board of Education postponed a decision on changing the district's 2021-22 calendar at a special meeting Friday, Dec. 11. Board member Jann Skelton said she would support changing the calendar, approved at the board's meeting Monday, Dec. 7, so the first day of school does not fall on the second day of the Jewish holiday of Rosh Hashanah.
