February 13 2021
A rally of anti-fascists in snowy downtown Portland Friday evening ended with a few broken windows, police say.
The ground was white with snow, but local anti-fascists still dressed all in black for another protest in downtown Portland on Friday evening, Feb. 12.
A group of perhaps 70 people gathered at Director Park, 815 S.W. Park Ave., around 8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 12, for what was advertised as an "antifa snowball fight" on social media. A few snowballs were thrown at passing police cruisers.
The initial vibe of the Antifa Snowball Fight in Director Park last night. Unidentifiable people in black bloc snow clothes hurl snowballs at one another.
