Police Ban Sale, Use Of Firecrackers, Fireworks During Yuletide In Enugu, Delta
Enugu and Delta states’ police commands have vowed to enforce the ban on the sale and use of firecrackers and fireworks in the Nigerian states. For instance, the police commissioner in Enugu State, Ahmed Ammani on Tuesday directed all divisions and formations in the state to ensure total enforcement of the ban. A statement issued by the Command's spokesman Daniel Ndukwe, on Tuesday, explained that the ban is part of measures devised to ensure public security and safety in Enugu during the yuletide.
