A drill rapper who tried to deflect the blame on to his identical twin after a new father was stabbed to death has been jailed.
DNA matching the profile of 18-year-old Javell Hall was found on the sheath of a knife used to murder Asante Campbell in north London, the Old Bailey heard.
Co-defendant Kofi Abusah, 19, received the same sentence for the rail worker's murder.
Mr Campbell was attacked by a group of males on an estate in Hendon on 29 February 2020. The jury was told that the reason for the stabbing remained a mystery.

Drill rapper jailed for life over stab murder


A drill rapper has been locked up for life for the murder of a new father after falsely trying to pass off incriminating DNA evidence as his twin brother’s.
Javell Hall, 18, and his co-defendant Kofi Abusah, 20, were found guilty of killing rail worker Asante Campbell in Hendon following a trial at the Old Bailey.
On Friday, they were handed life sentences each with a minimum term of 19 years.
In a victim impact statement, Mr Campbell’s mother Angela paid tribute to his “infectious presence” and charitable nature.
Mrs Campbell told how he stepped in to play football with a lone boy in a park; supported the family of a suicidal girl; and even dropped a total stranger at the airport.

A new father kissed his fiancee and baby daughter goodnight before he was stabbed to death in a “mystery” attack, a court has heard.
Rail worker Asante Campbell, 24, was set upon by four males on an estate in Hendon, on the evening of Saturday February 29 2019, the Old Bailey was told.
He had been waiting to meet a colleague before setting off together for a night shift, jurors were told.
Three teenagers – Javell Hall, 18, and 19-year-olds Kofi Abusah and Hafid Omar – are on trial accused of his murder.
Prosecutor Oliver Glasgow QC said: “On the evening of Saturday February 29 2019, Asante Campbell kissed his fiancee and baby daughter goodnight and set off for work.
