The college staffers are upset that there has been such a long delay in recruiting principals as the post has been vacant for too long. Many lament the fact that the principals keep retiring, but the position is not filled immediately. “Even other senior positions in the collegiate department are vacant because the higher education system still follows the archaic policy of the Cadre and Recruitment Rules, 1967,” said a college staffer.
