Brush softball may just have begun its new slate of contests for the 2023 season, but the Beetdiggers have already experienced the high of victory and the sting of defeat. Both decisions came by way of large margins. On Saturday, in back-to-back campaigns, the Diggers first defeated Greeley Central with a 21-2 score before turning around to fall to The Academy by a 16-0 final. The ladies just couldn’t contain the heat that The Academy pitcher Isabella Bruntz was throwing down.
