New Delhi: In the midst of the North-South India controversy stirred by Opposition parties led by the Congress, former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda stated on Saturday that Lord Ram served as a unifying force in the nation and established its bedrock.
The Ram temple in Ayodhya has received Rs 12.8 crore in donations in just 15 days since its opening. Over 30 lakh devotees visited the temple in 15 days, with average daily footfall of 2 lakh. Donations have also seen a sharp rise, with the highest single-day collection reaching Rs 3.17 crore. Devotees can contribute online or through donation boxes placed within the temple premises.
