For the upcoming 'pran pratishtha' ceremony at Ayodhya's Ram temple on January 22, advanced security measures have been put in place, utilizing high-tech gadgets such as AI-based CCTV cameras, X-ray luggage scanners, and Under Vehicle Scanning System (UVSS). The security setup includes the deployment of National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) teams trained in handling various emergencies.

Ayodhya will be fortified ahead of the Ram Temple's inauguration ceremony with a foolproof security cover. UP Police has also introduced artificial intelligence-based anti-mine drones to provide 360-degree security coverage.

In a bid to ensure robust security during and after the ‘pran pratishtha’ ceremony, the Ayodhya administration is installing 10,000 CCTV cameras in the entire district. Further, multilingual policemen in plain clothes will also be deployed at the venue

Several other leaders of the Opposition INDIA bloc, including Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi and party chief Mallikarjun Kharge have turned down the invitation for the Ram Mandir consecration ceremony.

BJP chief Nadda said the party has decided to carry out a cleanliness campaign at temples across the country from Makar Sankranti to January 22 (consecration ceremony of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya).
