Baeksang Arts 2021 Update: Seo Ye Ji Tops Popularity Award amid Controversies + Kim Seon Ho Leads Male Category

Seo Ye Ji and Kim Seon Ho lead the poll for the 2021 Baeksang Popularity Award.
Earlier this week, the secretariat of Baeksang Arts Awards formally opened the poll stating that TikTok users may start voting for their favorite celebrities from May 3 to 10.
The said category has 35 men and 34 women nominees who appear on tv and in film.

In just a day after the announcement, the "It's Okay to Not be Okay" actress tops the female category, also known as the TikTok Popularity Award.

Baeksang Arts 2021 opened its voting poll for the Popularity Award over TikTok.
In less than two weeks before the prestigious ceremony, the Secretariat of the award-giving body announced the news, saying, "Today, April 3, 11 am to 10th 11:59 pm, we will hold a vote for the TikTok. Popularity Award for eight days."
The said category, also known as the TikTok Popularity Award, is given to one man and woman who have garnered the most number of votes.

For this year, the nominees comprised 35 men and 34 women for the TV and Film category. This includes "Penthouse" stars Kim Hyun Soo and Kim So Yeon, "Mr. Queen's" Shin Hye Sun, and controversial actress Seo Ye Ji were among the several candidates.
