In the current fiscal year (FY24) until December, high-speed electric two-wheeler sales in the country have exceeded the 640,000 mark, with Ola leading the way.
Bajaj Auto had a good year in terms of domestic sales which increased by 28 percent from 1,48,583 units to 1,90,919 units in year-on-year numbers. Overall the company saw growth of 16 percent in year-on-year sales by selling 3,26,806 vehicles compared to 2,81,514 vehicles at the same time last year. This surge can be attributed to the robust performance of three companies — Bajaj Auto, Maharashtra Scooters and Bajaj Finance. Bajaj Autos shares have rallied 70% this year, while Maharashtra Scooters advanced 74%. The conglomerates flagship entity, Bajaj Finance, has gained 14%, and Bajaj Finserv has risen 10%.
