Trains can now run from Baramulla to Sangaldan via Banihal. The Banihal-Khari-Sumber-Sangaldan section is a part of the larger Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramula Rail Link project with a total length of 272 km and a cost of Rs 41,119 crore.
