A 45-year-old man has been sentenced to 140 years in prison by a Baricho Court after he pleaded guilty to defiling his two daughters in Ndia, Kirinyaga County.
The pastor was brought before Principal Magistrate Antony Mwicigi who sentenced him to 70 years in prison for two counts of incest each.
The accused was charged that in June 2019 on diverse dates, he defiled and impregnated his 16-year-old daughter who later gave birth to a girl who is now seven-months-old.
The court was told that the matter was not reported and the suspect continued to live in the same compound with the girl.

A pastor who impregnated his daughters yesterday pleaded guilty to defilement charges before a Kirinyaga court.
The 51-year-old man, identified in court as HB to protect the identity of his victims, stunned the court after he admitted to charges of defiling his daughters aged 14 and 16 before escaping to Embu County to avoid arrest.
The police had said HB was a pastor at a local church.
He ran away from his home but was cornered in Mbeere South where he had disguised himself as a desperate herder from Somalia who was looking for a job.
