Claiming that 2022 was a better year in context of security situation, DGP Dilbag Singh today said 186 terrorists belonging to Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) and Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) were killed out of which 56 were from Pakistan.

A total of 172 terrorists, including 42 foreigners, were killed in more than 90 operations carried out by the security forces in Kashmir in 2022, a senior police officer said in Srinagar on Saturday
"Maximum (74) joined LeT. Out of total recruitment, 65 terrorists neutralised in encounters, 17 terrorists arrested and 18 terrorists are still active," he added.
