Alton on miami beach, not so much the beach part, but the back bay, kind of like near biscayn ebay. i saw water in the street and thought it must be a broken water main. i pulled over, said what's going on, are they going to fix the water main. they looked at me like what are you talking about, this is the ocean, this is high tide backing up the sewers and flooding our streets. it happens every fall when the water's warm and the tides are high. i thought wow, we did not really think we were going to drive into flooding because of higher water but that's what we saw. it's undeniable here in mia...
