Regional councillors and Mayor Amanda McDougall responded to criticism about their recent strategic planning sessions at last night’s council meeting. Mayor McDougall says there have been public concerns the sessions violated the Municipal Government Act because they took place behind closed doors. But she says both former municipal affairs minister Chuck Porter and current minister Brendan Maguire approved the gathering.
