Washington DC/ New Delhi: The inauguration of new US President Joe Biden will take place in Washington DC on Wednesday. The security in the US capital has been stepped up in light of the imminent threat from external as well as internal attacks.
Biden will be sworn-in as the 46th President of the United States. The event will witness A-listers in attendance along with the conventional pomp such as the traditional parade, presence of former presidents and tributes to the troops. Among those who will take part in the inauguration are - Lady Gaga and Jennifer Lopez, rock legend Bruce Springsteen and Garth Brooks.

Joe Biden Inauguration: South Shore Drill Team performs in virtual Parade Across America

CHICAGO (WLS) -- The South Shore Drill Team will perform again in a presidential inauguration, this time virtually in Joe Biden's celebratory Parade Across America.
"I feel a great sense of honor participating in something this major," said 16-year-old William Lamb, South Shore Drill Team.
The drill team was notified by the presidential inauguration committee on New Year's Eve that they had been selected to participate in the virtual parade. They had a week to plan and execute their routine.
"I think that really shows the country what's going on in Chicago, especially on the South Side of Chicago with African American children," said Stella Natufe, South Shore Drill Team.
