The government’s drop reports on the state of drinking water, sanitation and leaks have been released, revealing a dire situation in many parts of SA, including the Eastern Cape, but good performances in some categories from municipalities such as Nelson Mandela Bay and Kouga.
The few top-performing municipalities ensuring good water quality were named when the government released progress assessment reports this week.
