However, commuters argue that the existing parking space is insufficient. For instance, at the Indiranagar Metro station, which sees around 14,000 commuters daily, there’s parking space for just 437 square metres, accommodating only 155 two-wheelers.
While the facility is operational, BSCL officials say they are ironing out the last few creases. Since ICCC has brought in 14 line departments, including key agencies like BBMP, BWSSB, BESCOM, KSPCB, BMTC, and BTC, under the same roof, dependency on these departments is very high, leading to last-minute hiccups.
Indiranagar is now the second busiest station after the Majestic interchange
The area houses Rajarajeshwari Medical College, ACS College of Engineering, SDM Institute of Ayurveda and Hospital, and ICFAI Business School among others.
