A man accused of second-degree murder in the 2020 shooting of Brandon Applegate is going to stand trial.
The accused was arrested Sunday evening by members of the Saskatoon Police Service, Guns and Gangs Unit at a residence in the 200 block of Avenue L South. Investigators believe this incident was not random and that the accused was known to the victim. The 30-year-old male is scheduled to appear in Saskatoon Provincial Court Tuesday morning.
