The Haldimand Norfolk Health Unit reported on Saturday 11 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours.
There are now 133 active cases in the two communities.

Since the pandemic began last March, 1,783 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in Haldimand-Norfolk, with 1,606 of those resulting in recovered cases.
There have been 39 deaths in the communities from the virus and five people who had tested positive but died from complications attributed to other illnesses.
As far as area vaccinations are concerned, 24,638 doses have been administered in Haldimand-Norfolk with 1,787 of those completed.

The Haldimand Norfolk Health Unit reported on Friday more than 20 new COVID-19 cases for the third straight day.
Following 22 positive results on Wednesday and 23 on Thursday, the HNHU was reporting on Friday 25 new cases in the past 24 hours.

Active cases in the area also continue to climb. There are now 138 active cases in the two communities, up from 118 on Wednesday and 129 on Thursday.
Since the pandemic began last March, 1,772 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in Haldimand-Norfolk, with 1,590 of those resulting in recovered cases.

The Haldimand Norfolk Health Unit continues to see large increases in its daily new COVID-19 cases.
After reporting 22 positive results on Wednesday, the HNHU was reporting on Thursday an additional 23 cases in the past 24 hours.

The Brant County Health Unit reported on Wednesday almost half as many new COVID-19 cases from Tuesday.
There were 21 new cases reported on Wednesday by the health unit. On Tuesday, there were 40.

However, despite the lower new case count, active cases increased to 162 on Wednesday from 155 on Tuesday.
There are also seven people receiving treatment at Brantford General Hospital, an decrease from the 10 who were receiving treatment on Tuesday.
Although the health unit website says there are five people hospitalized, the numbers on the two websites are different because some patients receiving treatment at BGH may reside outside of Brantford-Brant.

Since the pandemic began last March, 1,724 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in Haldimand-Norfolk, with 1,562 of those resulting in recovered cases.
