The Sea Dogs have acquired overage goaltender Zachary Emond in a trade with Rouyn-Noranda. In return, the Huskies received a fourth-round pick in 2023 and a sixth-round pick in 2022. Emond was selected in the sixth round of the 2018 NHL Draft by San Jose. The Quebec native signed a standard entry-level contract with the team in May 2019.
