A man accused of murdering three people in Cincinnati last month has died in Detroit, four days after he was shot by police outside a motel in the city, authorities said.Chandra Moore, 55, died Friday, Detroit police Sgt. Nicole Kirkwood said. Detroit police Chief James Craig said Moore killed his estranged wife, 28-year-old Brittany Wagoner. Her body was found on Feb. 28 at the Alms Apartments on Victory Parkway in Walnut Hills.Detectives also said Moore shot four people that night in a house on Idlewild Avenue. Two of the people who were shot in that house died — 33-year-old Timothy Dugar and 35-year-old Andrew Wesley. Police confirmed Wagoner and Dugar were siblings.Craig said Moore fled the scene and spent his overnight hours in a motel in Detroit. Craig said his officers waited patiently for Moore to leave his room, mindful of the safety of other guests at the motel. When Moore emerged the next morning, Chief Craig said he opened fire on the officers."He was looking around, basically looking for police officers," Craig said. "He took his time. He went to a vehicle. It was parked. He positioned himself and then immediately opened fire."Craig said thankfully no officers were injured."This was a very dangerous suspect. Clearly, he was focused on one thing and that’s taking additional lives – and try to take out police officers, unsuccessfully," he said.Craig said Moore was shot several times by police. He was taken to the hospital in Detroit in critical condition where he later died.Craig also said officers recovered three handguns, one semi-automatic and two revolvers that Moore had with him.
