National Day of Prayer observed in Southbury SOUTHBURY – The Southbury National Day of Prayer event will have prayer gatherings next Thursday at noon and 6 p.m. at the Town Hall flagpole area, 501 Main St. South. Participants will pray the national theme of “Lord, pour out your love, life and liberty. We pray in the love of Jesus Christ, acting in his life, his character and nature, for liberty and justice for all people.” Southbury veterans will lead the Pledge of Allegiance.
