The incident took place in NS Palya, at BTM Layout. Manjula, in her complaint to the police, stated that her husband Prakash, would often drink and pick a fight with her. Prakash worked as a driver with St. John’s Hospital. On February 18th, Prakash got into a heated argument with Manjula, when their minor daughter intervened.
