President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has vetoed a law passed by the Verkhovna Rada to allocate an additional UAH 573.9 million for the completion of the construction of the National Museum of the Holodomor-Genocide and asks the Parliament to reject it.
The Verkhovna Rada on Thursday supported at the final reading bill No. 9346-1 with amendments to the Budget Code of Ukraine on ensuring the predictability of budgetary policy and strengthening debt sustainability, Head of the parliamentary budget committee Roksolana Pidlasa has said.
The revised memorandum for the IMF-Ukraine Extended Fund Facility (EFF) program incorporates four additional structural benchmarks focusing on the country’s fiscal system, small business loans, natural gas transportations infrastructure, and customs duties, the IMF said in a message on its website on July 7.
