A campfire ban in B.C.'s Southern Interior will begin Thursday, June 8, at noon, and will last until noon on Oct. 13 or until the order is rescinded.
The fire was first spotted on Sunday night and is currently mapped at 33 hectares, a figure first offered by BC Wildfire on Monday night.
